• Indications : Pituitary diabetes insipidus and bleeding oesophageal varices.
• Contraindications : Coronary artery disease and other vascular diseases chronic nephritis.
• Dosage : 10 units i.m. or s.c. 20 units dissolved in 200ml of 5% dextrose solution slowly intravenously.
